Implementation

ACTEK provides comprehensive implementation services as part of every new client engagement. Implementation services provide dedicated support for every major task ranging from the initial kick-off meeting through post live support.

One of the major differentiators in working with ACTEK is our use of fixed fee pricing for all client implementations. Our experience has shown that our fixed fee model is a better strategy for aligning the goals of client and vendor and eliminating unnecessary scope creep which causes delays and increases costs. In general we believe that payment should be tied to a deliverable—not activity.

Project Management

ACTEK has developed exceptionally strong project management methodologies, which are enhanced through the use of ACTEK's proprietary APlan Application. APlan is an Internet-based project management application that provides detailed tracking of all project tasks, responsible parties and due dates.

APlan is used by both the client and ACTEK implementation team and, in addition to providing comprehensive project reporting to the entire team, also sends automatic email notification for overdue and/or reassigned tasks. APlan ensures a high degree of accountability in all phases of the implementation project and is an excellent tool to ensure proper monitoring and measurement of individual tasks.

Training

ACTEK provides comprehensive and customized training services to all clients as a standard component of implementation. Training can be conducted at the client site, over the web, or at ACTEK headquarters.

Customer Support

The annual support fee provides all clients with 24 x 7 support services, access to all new releases of the software, and participation in ACTEK’s Client-Driven Development Model.

Customer-Driven Development Model

ACTEK aggressively pursues a customer-driven development model in order to continuously enhance ACom3. This means listening to each customer’s feedback on how the product needs to evolve, rather than relying on analysts or outside consultants. We feel that there is no better source of input for product evolution than the clients who use the product every day and rely on it to continue to meet and exceed their business requirements.
